How to connect iPhone to Jeep Bluetooth
By Product Expert | Posted in Jeep, Technology on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at 4:28 pmDrivers are expected to be connected whether they are at home, in their offices or behind the wheel. People assume we’re reachable no matter where we are, but that can create problems if we lose focus on the road. To ensure drivers can access their contacts and favorite apps while traveling, we’re sharing how to connect an iPhone to Jeep Bluetooth so all hands can stay on the wheel and eyes can stay fixed on the road ahead.
Jeep Bluetooth pairing instructions for iPhone:
Before attempting the Bluetooth pairing process, ensure your vehicle is in park.
On the iPhone:
- Go to SETTINGS
- Select BLUETOOTH
- Ensure Bluetooth toggle is switched ON
On the Uconnect system:
- Press PHONE on Uconnect touchscreen
- Uconnect system will prompt driver to pair a phone
- Select YES
- System will search for Bluetooth connections
On the iPhone:
- Select UCONNECT from devices list
- Accept connection request
- When prompted, verify PIN on iPhone matches PIN on Uconnect screen (select YES on Uconnect touchscreen)
- Select PAIR
After these steps are completed, the iPhone should be paired to Jeep Uconnect Bluetooth. Now drivers can make phone calls, respond to text messages and play music without compromising focus behind the wheel.
